Navigational Signal Simulators

These signal generators' revolutionary design provides unprecedented accuracy, capabilities, flexibility, and ease of use. They provide the highest accuracy (to mm level), largest dynamics (800 km/s, 20,000 g acceleartion and 20,000 g/s2 jerk) and a host of software models describing the satellite, environment, and platform donditions compared with any other simulator currently available. All the waveforms (civilian and military) for GPS L1, L2, L5 (including modernized signals) as well as all Glonass and Galileo waveforms are curently available and are being continuoulsy updated as some of the newer waveforms are defined. They use the most advanced multiprocessor technology and a GUI to configure, control, and monitor the operation of real-time signal generation. They adapt especially well to hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) simulation with extremely low latency.

Various hardware options are provided covering single antenna civilian simulators (with the lowest cost), military code simulators with single and dual outputs (for RTK simulation), to wavefront simulation with 7 antennas or more. All the simulators share similar architecture and provides unprecedented performance. Synchronied INS simulators are also provided.

The modularized structure of these state of the art simulators allow various combinations of waveforms, constellations, jammers, etc. to be acquired by the users at different times if desired.

Following models are available off-the-shelf (you can view all of our brochures here):

  1. GPS C/A Code Simulator
  2. Civilian GNSS simulator (with any combination of GPS, Glonass, and Galileo cards, upgradable in future, all frequencies L1, L2, L5, E1, E6, E5)
  3. Dual Frequency Simulator for C/A and P codes
    L1 and L2 frequencies C/A and P
    L1 and L2 frequencies C/A and P(Y)
  4. Multifrequency Simulator for C/A, P, and M codes
    L1, L2, L5 for civilian C/A, P, Pseudo M
    L1, L2, L5 C/A, military P(Y), and M
  5. Dual Frequency Simulator for two antennas
    L1, L2 C/A and P-codes
  6. Multifrequency wavefront simulator with 7 antenna outputs

We are constantly upgrading these simulators in close coordination with GPS/JPO. The relevant areas include: GPS III signals and waveforms. We are also providing suitable modification to account for SV49 anomaly in the GPS IIF satellite.

Multichannel GPS-WAAS Signal Generator (C/A code) (brochure)

(GPSS-CA-002-04)

This self-contained unit simulates high-fidelity C/A code signal for up to 12 satellites at any time. It generates GPS L1 C/A code signal and a Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) signal and can test and help simulate GPS systems. The signal generfator is available in both rack-mountable and tabletop configurations.

GPS Dual-Frequency Multichannel RF Signal Simulator for C/A, P and (optional) M-codes (brochure)

(GPSS-DF-003-04/GPSS-DF-004-04)

These self-contained units simulate high-fidelity multichannel C/A, P and )optional) M-code signals at L1 and L2 bands.

The user can control all aspects of the signal including PRN, power level, Doppler and signal/message content.

The signal generator uses the hallmark software-based architecture from our other simulators and receivers, for unprecedented accuracy and flexibility. It offers unlimited verticle upgrade.

The supplied software reflects this flexibility, allowing an operator-interactive mode or fully integrated mode using the supplied C programming libraries. It supports synchronization to other systems. All the signals and internal signal structures can be monitored in real-time.

GPS Multifrequency Wavefront Simulator (brochure)

(GPSS-MBW2/7-008-06)

These units are available for L1, L2, L5 C/A, P, and M-codes. They provide simulated wavefronts at multiple (4, 6, 8, 12) antenna ports. These simulators provide extreme high fidelity wavefront simulation with accuracies better than mms. Built in calibrators ensure the phase accuracies. These simulators like our other units are software programmable and provide high dynamics and HWIL performances.

Multifrequency Multichannel Civilian GNSS Signal Simulators (brochure)

(GNSS-CIV-01-09, GPS-CIV-01-08, Gal-CIV-01-08, Glo-CIV-01-08)

These are the most recent upgrades to our civilian simulators and allows the user to customize the simulator requirements by selecting modules for GPS, Glonass and Galileo constellations can be installed. The frequencies at L1, L2, L5, E1, E6, and E5 are generated. The Galileo waveforms will be updated if there are further changes in their waveforms.
