Press Releases

Microwave Processing

Advanced materials processing technologies using microwaves offer several advantages over conventional methods. The frequency most commonly investigated has been the conventional 2.45 GHz, and efforts are underway to use these microwaves for numerous materials processing applications. Read more.

Real-time Ionospheric Characterization Software

A versatile and user-friendly software system for describing the 3-D and 4-D distributions in the ionosphere has been developed at the Center For Remote Sensing, Inc. (CFRSI). The system can accept a variety of ionospheric data from diverse sources and geographic locations. Read more.

GPS System Products

CRS has developed entirely software-based single- and dual-frequency GPS receivers, a GPS signal simulator and other associated software modules and hardware units. The software modules allow easy configuration of improved GPS receiver architecture design and development. Read more.

Advanced HF Sounder

An advanced software controlled HF sounder will be available during July/August 2005. The sounder will provide digital ionograms, and be usable for numerous other HF diagnoses. Read more.

Ionospheric Measurement with GPS

The Center for Remote Sensing, Inc. has released, IONMGPS-001-04, the first software radio monitoring receiver with a patented built-in calibrator for precise calibration of receiver code and phase bias. This receiver has been designed and built from the ground up (not based on, or limited by available GPS engines) to be the world's most sensitive, precise, and easy to use ionospheric and atmospheric monitoring GPS receiver.
